Irma Dütsch ist 1944 als jüngstes Kind einer Bauernfamilie im Greyerzerland geboren und aufgewachsen. Ihr Vater war Bauer und Käser. Bereits als Mädchen wollte Irma Dütsch Köchin werden – und erlernte als eine der ersten Schweizerinnen den Kochberuf. Mit ihrem Mann Hans-Jörg Dütsch führte sie 30 Jahre lang erfolgreich das Restaurant Fletschhorn in Saas-Fee. 1994 und 2001 wurde Irma Dütsch beste Köchin des Jahres. Heute kocht sie erfolgreich an Gross- und Privatanlässen und kreiert einzigartige Kochbücher.

Irma Dütsch was born 1944 and raised as youngest child of a farmer family in the Greyerzland. Her dad was a farmer and cheesmaker. Already as a girl Irma Dütsch wanted to become a chef – and she learned the profession of a chef as one of the first Swiss women. Together with her husband Hans-Jörg Dütsch she was running over 30 years the flourishing restaurant Fletschhorn in Saas-Fee. 1994 and 2001 Irma Dütsch was nominated best chef of the year. Today, she cooks very succesfully for big and private events and creates uniqe gourmet books.
